Note: A lot of people are finding my Substack directly (and not through YouTube). Hence I’m now uploading previous podcasts so they’re all eventually on Substack, too. This will hopefully cross-fertilise my audiences and acts as a nice back-up if YouTube decides to take a “controversial” podcast down.
Anthony Magnabosco is a skeptic, well-known for his YouTube channel where he practices Street Epistemology (SE). Like a modern day Socrates he stops random people to have conversations about factual claims they make, in order to see if they have a good reason to believe them. His calm demeanour and ability to set people at ease makes for a wonderful antidote to a world of "Ben Shapiro DESTROYS SJW Feminist". As Anthony says in the interview, he distinguishes between beliefs and people — an approach anybody who interacts with him can attest to. In this interview we talk about the tools you can use to help deconstruct arguments (both your own and other people's) and the future of the "sense making" movement.
