A beautiful tribute to Sailer. It always amazes me how easily most people can ignore or submerge what their own eyes clearly reveal. Yes, people need to start trusting their instincts and start noticing more.

Steve is a heroic essayist. The most respectable, least-respected man in America. I hope one day he gets the respect he deserves. It's sad how braindead charlatans like Alex Jones and Candace Owens have orders-of-magnitude more reach than Steve.

Sailer is truly a public intellectual. In a world with a functioning culture, he would be a full professor at some ivy league university. Instead we have people like Claudine Gay to lecture us, and pull down almost 1M a year.

Of all the books currently wafting around the dissident conservative ecosphere (Henderson's, Rufo's, Hanania's etal) Noticing has the best title - and by a country mile. The word 'Noticing' gets right to the heart of what we dissenters from the Social Justice Religion are trying to say. It speaks a thousand words and more to our argument...and that before you even get to the first page. A great fan. https://grahamcunningham.substack.com/

I was hoping "Noticing" referred to the elephant in the room, jewish influence in academia, media and society at large.

As interesting and valuable as the work of men like Sailer, Jared Taylor, and this author's work is, it is all in vain for the lack of pointing out who is orchestrating all of this, from the purchase and transport of slaves, to the plantations, the civil rights era, to the border issue today. Mayorkas, who many will take for a hispanic, went directly from the board of one of the biggest global facilitators of illegal immigration, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), to director of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, then to DHS. Mayorkas' first year as DHS secretary saw Taxpayer dollars to Hebrew Immigrant Aid Sociey double from 25 to 50 million; the following year, it doubled again; and in 2023 it rose to a record 105 million. HIAS themselves refer to him as "Latino" so as to not draw attention to the fact that he is jewish.

We share are longest, most exposed border with a country who now has a jewish president. Mexico is 70% Catholic, and 0.25% jewish. What are the odds.

Talking about black crime or immigration without ever broaching the subject of who's forcing them into our spaces and driving our extinction is worse than saying nothing, because it leaves the reader none the wiser about why it's really happening. It's doing the jew's work for him.

We're all going to die focusing on the symptoms and ignoring the cause.

Ben Sixsmith wrote a positive review of Noticing in this month's Critic which piqued my interest. I couldn't find the book on Amazon which made me determined to read it, and I have now ordered it from the USA. £24 postage for a £25 book is a bit heavy though - I do hope it's worth it!

Against Citizenism

" "What is more, Sailer shows real regard for his fellow Americans (of all races), promoting a view that he calls citizenism, which “affirms that true patriots and idealists are willing to make sacrifices for the overall good of their fellow American citizens rather than for the advantage of either six billion foreigners or of the special interests within our own country.” "

But why? There are hundreds of millions, maybe even billions of foreigners more worthy of my consideration than the average black American. People who'd treat me far more fairly if they were, let's say, invited to serve on a jury where I was being tried. It's one thing to say, we are stuck with this people as a legal technicality or something but to say that this is the metric of being a patriot?

Leftists are right to point out that we'd care more if some catastrophe befell the people of London instead of Mogadishu. They are right and this is good. It is good because the residents of Liverpool have, even now, a better "content to their character" than the residents of Mogadishu. Progressives will deny this, or say it's only a temporary product of circumstances, but they Sailerist knows this is beyond any reasonable doubt.

But then he considers himself morally superior by refusing to apply the same analysis to say that we should care more about about Liverpool than Detroit. Now once again, maybe we are stuck. But this isn't a good thing. Celebrating it nullifies the strongest argument against accepting the hundreds of millions of the world's destitute - that they are of poorer character.

In a just world, Sailer would be the most famous journalist in America. Noticing the surge in “deaths of exuberance” alone is more valuable journalistic work than any of the Pulitzer Prizes handed out in a decade.

The value of racial insight is so high and the case for biological differences so compelling that it can’t remain forever hidden, especially as America transitions to a majority-minority country. Maybe someday work in the field will be rewarded with a Sailer Prize.

You are all living in an echo chamber of your own making. A bunch of white men labeling themselves as progressive thinkers who feel sorry for themselves and wronged by the world. You’re all a joke
