Lawfare works when most people believe in the rule of law. They may disagree with the law, but they will obey it because "the law is the law." This is especially the case with the populations of northwest Europe, who have a strong propensity to identify "the rules," obey "the rules," and enforce "the rules."
This is much less the case with most populations on this planet. For them, the organizing principle of society is not "the rules." It's kinship. They don't think in terms of whether a universal rule has been broken. They think in terms of whether something is "good for us" or "bad for us."
Yes, lawfare worked really well in the Old America, and it still works well in that demographic. In the New America? Not so much. Let me make two predictions:
1. High schools and colleges will be prosecuted, but not for woke ideology. They will be prosecuted for holding pro-Palestinian protests.
2. Many of those prosecutions will succeed in court while failing in the real world. Schools and colleges will refuse to comply, as will local police forces and public servants. It will be like "pushing a chain." You will be able to push the first link, but the others won't follow.
Homeschooling has never been more popular as it has been lately now that sane people are realizing what lunatics want to put into the minds of the young and helpless.
What about suing the teachers unions? The NEA Today magazine in Jan 2022 had a centerfold BLM poster for classrooms, and both AFT and NEA continue to push radical race and gender ideologies that do not represent most members. We can opt out but that leaves us with no collective bargaining power for legitimate worker's rights. Time to take back the unions.
Interesting possibility: If, as many are alleging on Twitter, Audrey Hale was taught anti-white hatred at the art college she had just graduated from, parents of the victims might have basis for a lawsuit against that school.
It's a nice thought, but it'll never happen until we can co-opt their long march and use if for our purposes. Judo works against raging psychopaths, but not against the sort of cold and calculated adversaries we're up against. Control of institutions is prerequisite to this sort of thing.
