Excellent article.

Yes, the current narrative is get whitey.

Of course, but add on that 1) Whitey has the money, and 2) Whitey has a pathological guilt complex. Perfect storm for a coordinated shakedown.

“…yet Mongolia receives close to zero criticism.” As per above, modern mongols have neither money, nor guilt. Indeed, they build tourist attractions to their only claim to fame, Genghis Khan. Were we only as wise…

The essential problem is that Western elites prefer their oiks to be a different colour.

"Colonialism" means imperialism that makes western liberal elites feel guilty.

You might have emphasized that it is the modern West alone that finally branded these practices as barbaric and, at enormous cost, finally brought them to an end within its own domain. These wokesters are sawing off the limb they are standing on.

LOL how can you write this and not mention the main argument in favor of your thesis?

After WW2 the UN had discussions spanning from the 1940s to the 70s to condemn imperialism. Central to those was the USSR which used “imperialism” as a direct accusation against Western colonial powers and tied it to capitalism, military bases, and economic domination.

The key idea is called the “blue water thesis” or “salt water thesis” which boils down to colonialism being treated mainly as rule over a geographically separate dependency across the sea, not as domination of a minority or conquered people inside the recognized borders of an existing state.

This allowed the USSR to claim not to be an empire, despite including hundreds of separate peoples in it's territory. A territory largely inherited from the Russian Empire which did the actual conquering of those peoples. The USA largely agreed to this definition to escape controversies regarding it's treatment of Native Americans.

So yes, it's all a Marxist psyop against the West.

Yeah but only white guilt pays. That's the fundamental problem.

pretty sure its as simple as, its because we are currently the winners/ most successful/ in the lead/ civilization on top. theres nothing to be gained from denigrating societies that have since fallen off, no matter how evil they were. also, no civilization or race on earth in all of history has willingly and repeatedly put limits on its own power as have white western societies, specifically white men.

Terrific article. Lipton Matthews always makes a lot of sense.

Punching at the wind. You want to go after leftism, go after leftists.

(Hint: You can NEVER win an argument against them because they don't argue; instead, they take power and exercise it ruthlessly to suppress whatever truths they find inconvenient.)

And Dont forget the Turke who invaded and replaced from china to germany

Or the chinese whoe exterminated the Dhangzhou and increased their territory by 30%

or the african tribes like the Yao who carried out black slave trade

or the aztecs who cut out the hearts of their conquests

etc etc etc

The entire edifice of that fraud known as "slavery reparations" rests on the belief that America is uniquely guilty, an accusation that collapses under its own anti-historical eight. I published a monograph in 2020 demolishing the case for reparations from every angle.

That is a file path on your hard drive. The rest of the Internet cannot see it, unless you upload it to the web.

Several years ago I wrote an abridged version for Chronicles. Perhaps I should post that in its place. Postscript: I did just that. See link above.

The problem is we weren't nuked. The Japanese were disgusting beyond belief during WW2 and responsible for the deaths of 30 mln people, mostly civilians. But...they were nuked (they deserved 10 more imo). And thus they became - very willing - 'victims'. Just 7 war criminals were executed and already in the 1950s the first war criminal became PM…
