Higher Education and Cultural Liberalism: Regression Discontinuity Evidence from Romania. Brendan Apfeld and colleagues examine the effect of attending university on culturally liberal attitudes in Romania. Comparing individuals just above the matriculation threshold on the national exam to those just below, they find that attending university leads to more culturally liberal attitudes.

The influence of familial factors on the association between IQ and educational and occupational achievement: A sibling approach. Emilie Hegelund and colleagues examine the association between IQ and GPA within Danish sibling pairs. They find that there is a strong correlation between IQ and GPA even within sibling pairs though it is somewhat weaker than the correlation in the cohort as a whole.

Familial Studies of Intelligence: A Review. In a classic article from 1981, Thomas Bouchard and Matthew McGue review 111 studies reporting correlations between the IQs of different pairs of relatives. They find an overall pattern that is highly consistent with a model of polygenic inheritance. Yet they also find considerable variation in the correlations for particular pairs of relatives.
