Political ideology shapes the amplification of the accomplishments of disadvantaged vs. advantaged group members. Nour Kteily and colleagues examine whether liberals are more likely than conservatives to amplify the achievements of individuals from “disadvantaged” groups. Analysing 500,000 tweets about 46 American Olympic gold medallists, they find that those sent by liberals were much more likely to refer to black or female athletes. 

Predictive Accuracy of Polygenic Scores from European GWAS among Chinese Provinces. Davide Piffer and Emil Kirkegaard examine the predictive validity of average polygenic scores in a sample of 28 Chinese provinces. They find that European-derived scores for educational attainment have a stronger correlation with average IQ than East Asian-derived scores. European-derived scores for height also correlate with average height.
