Attitudes towards the market economy and capitalism in Ukraine, Poland and Russia. Rainer Zitelmann compares attitudes towards capitalism in Ukraine and Russia. Analysing data for 36 countries, he finds that such attitudes are highly negative in Russia but are highly positive in Ukraine. Only a handful of countries have more positive attitudes toward capitalism than Ukraine and only a handful have more negative attitudes than Russia.
