Culture and Contemporary Political Preferences. Vasiliki Fouka and Marco Tabellini review the literature on the relationship between culture and political preferences. There is substantial evidence that political preferences persist within communities and across generations. This persistence is driven by more fundamental beliefs that prevail in particular cultures—such as trust, groupishness and a zero-sum mindset.

GenAI as an International Lawyer: A Case Study with the Jessup International Law Moot Court. Damien Charlotin and Niccolò Ridi test whether AI can craft compelling legal by anonymously entering AI submissions into the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. They find that some of the AI submissions received exceptional praise from judges and near-perfect ratings. However, they also contained factual inaccuracies and made-up citations.
